The traditional Christmas and New Year’s gift for the PrimaDonna employees and customers was questioned and replaced by a donation to Pink Ribbon. At PrimaDonna, where 90% of the employees are women, this initiative was welcomed in a positive and warm way. It’s a small gesture from over a thousand women in sympathy with other women.
Unique fitting room service for every woman
Experienced PrimaDonna trainers give the owners and the staff of a selected group of lingerie specialist shops an intensive training in order to become Lingerie Stylists.
As from 2011 some extra training will be provided in order to help women that don’t have “average” breasts: e.g. someone that has had a mastectomy or reconstructive surgery of the breast.
Project in collaboration with the University Hospital in Ghent
At the request of the radiotherapy department of the University Hospital in Ghent PrimaDonna is designing a unilateral bra that protects the healthy breast as much as possible during radiation therapy. Different prototypes have already been developed and tested. We are currently testing it at a larger scale on about 40 women and the first results are promising.
